Financial Management Research & Resource Society (FMRRS) is a Society registered under Registration of Societies Act, 1860 with the Registrar of Societies, Delhi. It was the culmination of an attempt by the serving and retired members of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) to create an institution – a center of Excellence in the sphere of Public Financial Management. FMRRS has a reservoir of knowledge and experience in all matters relating to Government Financial Management.
The strength of the Society currently stands at about 100, and the members mainly constitute senior serving and retired ICAS officers who possess in-depth knowledge of public finance including experience of working with International Monetary Fund, World Bank and other International organizations. Besides, the Society has on its roll professional Chartered Accountants and Cost Accountants with experience of work of the private sector. Shri B.S. Thapliyal, ICAS was the first "Founder President" of the Society.
Over the years,Replica Watches FMRRS has taken lead in nation building by conducting extensive training programmes for the seamless implementation of Good and Services Tax (GST) which is often dubbed as the biggest Indirect Taxes Reforms in India.
FMRRS has also decided to start a "Public Financial Management - International Practice" Course from this year. The main objective of the Course will be to groom existing PFM Professionals for assignments (Multilateral/ Bilateral) in an International Environment.
