Shri M. Pran Konchady is a retired officer of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) of 1982 batch and is the former President of FMRRS (Financial Management Resource & Research Society). Prior to this he was the Vice President of FMRRS from November, 2016 to December, 2017. He retired as Additional Controller General of Accounts, (Additional CGA) Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.
Shri M. Pran Konchady has a rich experience in the field of PFM and has worked as European PFM Specialist in Lesotho from January, 2018 to May, 2018. He has also worked as IMF Regional PFM Advisor in West Africa from 2012 -2014, World Bank PFM Advisor, Liberia from 2005-2006. Prior to this, he was Liquidator & CEO, Indian Road Construction Corporation Limited from 2001 to 2017. Director/ Scientist-F. He has a rich experience of automation & digitization during his long association of 37 years with Government of India. He handled Projects - All India Central Excise and Service Tax Computerization Project from 1980 to 2011, Council for Advancement of Peoples Actions and Rural Technology (CAPART). He earlier worked in the Ministry of Rural Development from 2011 to 2014 and also as Head of the Department of Central Excise and Service Tax Division from 2014 to 2017.
